As a midwife with 30 years of experience, it is an honor to provide out-of-hospital midwifery services to the women of Southern WV and their families. ​

 

Currently, we are serving Bluefield, WV and a 1.5 hour radius.

 

As a Certified Professional Midwife, I specialize in normal, unmedicated childbirth in healthy low-risk women. I provide home birth care at your home or at my birth cottage. I offer water birth and consultation to those hoping for a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). I am a trained, Diet & Lifestyle Counselor and I have been trained in the simple art of natural home remedies.

My passion is educating families so they have the information to make the best decisions for their pregnancy and birth and then supporting women in trusting in their body’s innate wisdom to birth babies.

 

I have a deep respect for families and babies and the natural birth process. I believe women should have their babies where and how they feel safest.

 

Birth should be honored and supported as a sacred transformation for mothers, babies and families.
